We all know that Apple has introduced plethora of new features from iOS to Mac OS X Mountain Lion which is due for download in July. One of its most prominent feature is Notification Center. Apple first introduced NC in iOS 5.0, which was somewhat appeared similar to Android notification center. However, Apple is extending the feature to Mac OS X with Mountain Lion which could be invoked merely with a swipe gesture from right to left. The same thing has been brought into iOS via Cydia through a tweak.
This tweak is called ‘Mountain Center’. Similar to Mountain Lion, all you have to do is to swipe from right to left or left to right to invoke the notification center. In stock firmware, Apple implemented it by dragging down a shutter from status bar to bottom. This might sound a tad old for many, but if you are looking for something fashionable or different from what others have, get MountainCenter tweak from Cydia.
Obviously, it’s possible only through a JailBroken iPhone. Non-JailBroken users couldn’t modify the notification center. They have to live with Apple restrictions. Mountain Center is available for $2.99 from Cydia Store. Have you tried it already? Shoot out your thoughts in comment section.
